Diet has helped my son tremendously. If you want to know more visit my blog at http://www.foodspark.com and read “Oliver’s Story”. He was never given an autism diagnosis as he was only 18 mons when I started dietary intervention, but there is no doubt in my mind that had i not stepped in when I did we would be facing that diagnosis now.

My son was diagnosed with autism 2 years ago. He was non-verbal and had severe behavioral and social issues. We were lucky to find a local autism center (Autism Solution Center) which instructed us in the GFCF diet. We started by pulling casein and within a week we saw in increase in language and eye contact. By the time we were a month in to the gluten free plan things were really looking up (improvements in behavior and sleep). My son and I both follow a GFCF diet and I am happy to report he just started kindergarten in a typical classroom – in other words… HE’S DOING GREAT! Just found your website. Ordering your book now. It is good to see a trained nutritionist backing the diet! :-)

    Hi,
I just wanted to share this helpful information regarding Gluten-Free Diets. Whole Foods Market is actually a great resource to find a variety of gluten-free products and dietary information. Their website lists a bunch of nutrition facts, recipes and plenty of products to choose from that they offer…
